LibreOffice 4.3 has been released today as the latest major update to the popular open-source office suite that continues in its battles against Microsoft Office.

Today's LibreOffice 4.3 release features improved document interoperability with better OOXML support, improved comment management, intuitive spreadsheet handling, 3D model support in Impress for the gITF format, and there's now support for "monster" paragraphs that exceed 65,000 characters. There's also build improvements and other enhancements on the back-end.
