The Age of Wonders III turn-based strategy game that was released back in March is still in the process of being ported to Linux and OS X. Developers are hopeful this well-received game will be released for the non-Windows platforms later this year.

In a new tech update, Triumph Studios shares that they remain hard at work on their Mac and Linux ports but there's a lot to to be done in porting their engine outside of the Microsoft world. One of the biggest project items was finally addressed recently and that's getting working OpenGL rendering.

Lennart Sas of Triumph Studios shared, "We can’t commit to a date yet; if all goes well, the idea is to have Mac and Linux versions available together later this year. Once our engine supports these platforms, future games can hopefully be released simultaneously across these platforms."
