Linux Foundation Gets New KVM Virtualization Partners

The Linux Foundation is announcing new member companies today that will be coming together in support of the foundation's Open Virtualization Alliance for pushing KVM.

The new Linux Foundation members being announced today include:

- Autonomic Resources
- Bloombase
- BlueCat Networks
- op5
- Proxmox Server Solutions GmbH
- Scale Computing
- 6WIND

This group of companies have an interest in advancing the Linux Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) through the Open Virtualization Alliance.

More details on these companies and the Linux Foundation's plans for better bolstering Linux virtualization can be found via today's press release.
