Wasteland 2 Is Finally Released For Linux Gamers

The Wasteland 2 post-apocalyptic role-playing game is now out for Linux by inXile Entertainment. The Kickstarter-backed game is still in beta for the Linux version just surfaced via Steam on Linux.

Wasteland 2 is one of the most highly anticipated Linux games recently and comes more than one decade after Brian Fargo acquired the rights to the original Wasteland. Wasteland 2 is powered by the Unity Game Engine and back during their Kickstarter campaign in 2012 is when they signaled a Linux game client.

Those interested in playing Wasteland 2 today on Linux while still in early beta can buy it via Valve's Steam Store with the Digital Deluxe Edition costing $59 USD. Additional options can also be found via inXile's store.
