Fedora's Copr Continues Mining New Features
Fedora's Copr project that tries to make it "easy and cool" to have third-party package repositories like Ubuntu's Launchpad PPA or the openSUSE Build Service, is continuing to march forward with new versions.
Copr is short for the "Cool Other Package Repo" and is similar in nature to the very common Ubuntu Personal Package Archives. Copr has been advancing quickly the past few months, but for those not up to speed on this new Fedora service, see the Wiki page.
The news today from the project is that there's a new version of Copr. The new version of Copr provides support for building in the new EPEL 7, the extras package repository for the forthcoming Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
Those wanting to check out Copr can find it hosted at FedoraProject.org.
