While it shouldn't come as a surprise given the recent (accurate) leaks on the device, but Google unveiled today a new ASUS-manufactured Nexus 7 tablet. The new Nexus 7 has a higher resolution display and is powered by the just-announced Android 4.3
The new Google Nexus 7 features a 7-inch 1920 x 1200 display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core SoC running at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 320 GPU integrated into the S4 Pro, and 2GB of RAM.
The higher resolution Nexus 7 is also thinner and lighter than the original Nexus 7. This tablet has a five-megapixel rear camera and 1.2 mega-pixel fromt camera. There's also dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
Pricing is $229 for the 16GB WiFi version or $269 for the 32GB Nexus 7.
