Valve has updated the Linux build of the popular Left 4 Dead 2 game to fix some crashers and add microphone support.

The Linux version of Left 4 Dead 2 now has microphone support and fixes a crash when showing the server message of the day. The Linux and OS X versions of Left 4 Dead 2 are now fixed for showing playing with captions without crashing or an issue where captions were not displayed at all.

The Friday update to Left 4 Dead 2 is detailed at SteamPowered.com.
