Total War: Rome II To Be Ported To Linux For SteamOS

Thanks to Valve's SteamOS Linux distribution, Creative Assembly is going to be bringing their popular Total War game series to Linux.

Total War: Rome II is the company's latest game that was released in September and is the eigth title in the Total War series. For Linux gamers interested in details on these popular titles, there's some Wikipedia information.

Creative Assembly shared with the PCGamersN web-site that Total War is coming to Linux. After trying out Total War: Rome II on Valve's new game controller, they're confident in bringing the strategy game to Linux/SteamOS.

Their first title to port will be Rome II and after that they'll gauge its success on Linux in determining whether to port their older games to Linux. The company also added they're thrilled by the prospect of a SteamOS.
