Lightworks On Linux Shows Signs Of Life

It's been a long-time coming, but the Linux port of the award-winning high-end Lightworks non-linear video editor is moving along.

The Linux port has taken much longer than originally anticipated when plans were laid in 2010. Now in 2013, they are still doing alpha testing with a small, exclusive sub-set of Linux users.

For those wondering about the current state of Lightworks on Linux, RedShark has posted a new video showing the state of the video editor on Ubuntu. The video is embedded below.

The Linux beta is said to be "very close."
