KDE 4.10.1 Brings Bug-Fixes To Plasma, Kontact, KWin

Posted by Michael Larabel on March 05, 2013

The first monthly point release for the month-old KDE SC 4.10 is now available

KDE 4.10.1 was announced this morning at KDE.org. "These updates are the first in a series of monthly stabilization updates to the 4.10 series. 4.10.1 updates bring many bugfixes and translation updates on top of the 4.10 release and are recommended updates for everyone running the initial 4.10 releases. As this release only contains bugfixes and translation updates, it will be a safe and pleasant update for everyone."

Among the notable areas that received fixes for this month's update is the Kontact Personal Information Management software and the KWin window manager. There's also been work done to KDE's Development Platform.

KDE also announced today the release of Plasmate 1.0, a Plasma Workspaces SDK.
