Games Running WIth Open-Source Radeon Graphics

Posted by Michael Larabel on February 28, 2013

The Wiki list of games known to work with the open-source Radeon Linux graphics driver has been updated.

For those curious about the games that are reported to work on the different generations of open-source Radeon graphics, the table has been updated today and yesterday on the X.Org Wiki.

For each game the support status is shown for R100, R200, R300, R400, RS690, R500, R600, R700, Evergreen, and Northern Islands. Sadly, the status for many of the games for many of the drivers is simply "UNKNOWN."

While there's plenty of unknowns, at least the number of game/driver configurations with a "platinum" status continues to rise. If you missed it, see yesterday's Low-End NVIDIA/AMD GPU Comparison On Open-Source Drivers.
