Canonical will be releasing a preview of their new Ubuntu Phone platform next week for the Google Galaxy Nexus.

On 21 February is the planned release date of the "Touch Developer Preview" of Ubuntut running on the Nexus phone hardware, which normally runs Android. This release is happening ahead of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

With this developer preview will be a daily update mechanism to stay in sync with the latest changes. A Preview SDK and app design guides are already available to assist developers in building touch apps for Ubuntu.
