LLVM Clang 3.3 RC2 Is Ready For Testing
The release of LLVM 3.3 along with its sub-projects like the Clang C/C++ compiler front-end and Compiler-RT is imminent. A second release candidate was posted just prior to the weekend to usher in some last minute testing.
The LLVM/Clang 3.3 release is tentatively planned to be released on the 9th birthday of Phoronix. This bi-annual update to the LLVM compiler infrastructure brings with it a heck of a lot new features.
Released two weeks ago was LLVM 3.3-rc1 and now is 3.3-rc2. At this stage in LLVM 3.3 development, only serious regression fixes from LLVM 3.2 are being accepted onto the LLVM 3.3 branch.
The release announcement for LLVM 3.3 Release Candidate 2 can be found on the Clang mailing list.
