After it was reported this morning that Mozilla is developing a new web-browser engine
(Servo) and then Google is forking WebKit
(Blink), Opera has confirmed they too will be using Google's Blink engine fork of WebKit.
Confirmation of Opera using Blink can be found on the blog
of Bruce Lawson, an Opera employee. This news comes after in February Opera announced plans to base their web-browser on WebKit and Chromium
after using their own "Presto" engine for years.
Opera has also vowed to commit support to Chromium and Blink.
