OpenSUSE 12.3 RC1 Is Ready To Be Hit On

The first release candidate of openSUSE 12.3 is now available for those wanting to give this popular Linux distribution a try.

Changes that made it for openSUSE 12.3 RC1 include replacing MySQL with MariaDB, WebYaST now working on 12.3, PackageKit 0.8.7 to offer better transaction performance and other improvements, Apper 0.8 as the new rewrite around packageKit, and the Linux 3.7.6 kernel.

Other changes along with the various download links for openSUSE 12.3 are made known at news.opensuse.org.
