Humble Bundle 7 Approaching Two Million Dollars

Posted by Michael Larabel on December 24, 2012

It's been another successful Humble Indie Bundle so far with the latest pay-what-you-want, cross-platform, DRM-free game offering approaching the two million dollar mark.

In the fifth day (out of fourteen) for the Humble Indie Bundle 7 game deal, the collection of games has already generated more than 1.7 million USD from over 270 thousand purchases, which puts the average purchase price at $6.41 USD. The average Linux contribution is $10.25, which is higher than what's being paid on average by Windows and Mac OS X users.

The titles being included with this Humble Indie Bundle 7 are Snapshot, The Binding of Isaac, Closure, Shank 2, and Indie Game: The Movie. When paying more than the floating average, Dungeon Defenders and Legend of Grimrock are included. The game soundtracks are also included.

This bundle is particularly interesting since it happens to bring the first Unreal Engine 3 game to Linux.

Those interested in getting this collection of Linux games over the holidays can visit the Humble Indie Bundle 7 deal in the next nine days.
