KDE 4.9.4 Ends Out The 4.9 Series With More Fixes

Posted by Michael Larabel on December 05, 2012

While KDE 4.10 Beta 2 was released yesterday, out today is the KDE 4.9.4 desktop update. With KDE 4.10 due in January, this is the last planned monthly point release in the 4.9.x series.

KDE 4.9.4 is notable in that it's carrying a bunch of Dolphin file manager improvements, but beyond that, there isn't much to see. "The list of 71 recorded bugfixes include improvements in the Dolphin file manager and Kontact email and groupware client. KDE's development platform has received a number of updates which affect multiple applications."

More details can be found in the KDE.org press release.
