GStreamer 1.0 Lands, GNOME 3.6 Is On Final Approach

With all of the GNOME 3.6.0 packages being checked in right now for releasing the updated open-source desktop this week, GStreamer 1.0.0 finally saw its first stable release.

The GStreamer 1.0 release announcement can be found on their announce list. This release really has materialized in just the past couple of weeks in order to make the GNOME 3.6 deadline with many packages now dependent upon the 1.0 API.
