Posted by Michael Larabel on December 30, 2011

Calculate Linux, the popular Gentoo-based Linux distribution from Russia, is out with their 11.12 release.

The Calculate Linux 11.12 release continues to be offered in various flavors such as Calculate Directory Server, Calculate Linux Desktop, Calculate Meddia Center, and Calculate Linux Scratch.

The 11.12 release for Calculate updates the portage trees (which are faster now due to migrating to Git), better binary repository support, PXE network boot support, localization improvements, and more.

Details for those interested or to try out any of the flavors of this Gentoo-based distribution can visit Calculate-Linux.org for the English content.
