Jiri Kosina submitted the HID updates today for the Linux 4.11 kernel cycle.

As with the HID updates for most kernel cycles, the Wacom driver was a big area of focus. With the Wacom updates for Linux 4.11 there is now second-generation Intuos Pro device support. The Intuos Pro pen/touch pad will set you back $300+ USD.

Also new to HID in Linux 4.11 is Microsoft Surface 3 and 4 Type Cover Pro support, HID-RMI is now a generic transport driver, and various bug fixes and improvements to the different areas of the HID subsystem.
