Kodi 16 "Jarvis" Is Now In Beta

Developers behind Kodi (formerly XBMC) announced the release this morning of Jarvis Beta 1.

Kodi 16 is bringing features like DirectX 11 support, better Android rendering, and more. Some of the other changes noted in today's beta announcement is 4:3 non-linear stretching, event logging, split up skin settings, image resource add-ons, long press support, changes to the add-on manager, removing the karaoke mode, and an "enormous list of improvements" overall.
