Debian GNU/Linux 8.6 Released

The latest installment of Debian "Jessie" is now available.

Debian 8.6 was announced this morning as the newest version of Debian 8 Jessie ahead of next year's Debian 9 "Stretch".

Debian 8.6 brings many upstream bug-fix package updates, security fixes to a number of packages, updated Adobe Flash plug-in, GnuPG being tweaked for extra security, updated Intel CPU microcode, and a wide range of other mostly bug/security/maintenance updates.
