LINUX GAMING
At the beginning of the year was the announcement of the C4 Engine dropping Linux support with its lead developer referring to Linux as "Frankenstein OS" and citing numerous difficulties with Linux. However, quietly this game engine seems to be back to supporting Linux.

Since the C4 Engine 4.2 release that allegedly did away with Linux support, several Phoronix readers have pointed out in recent weeks that it seems there is a return of native C4 Engine support on Linux. While the release notes since then haven't advertised the return of Linux support, the Terathon download page that's currently for the latest release (C4 Engine v4.5) does have a Linux demo (C4-4.5-Demo-Linux.tar.gz) for 64-bit Linux users.

So while they might have not broadly advertised the return of Linux support or are happy with Linux, the support seems to be back to at least some extent.
