What The Radeon "Crimson" Control Center Looks Like On Linux

RADEON
With the just-released AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition for Linux, aside from the reported performance improvements another area I was curious about was the talked about new control center for the driver.

Radeon Software at least for Windows has a brand new Qt-based control panel. Using the multi-platform Qt tool-kit there was speculation that this control panel would be available via the new Linux driver too....

However, I just installed today's Radeon Software Crimson for Linux release on Ubuntu 15.10.

There isn't any beautiful new GUI, but there's still just AMDCCCLE -- AMD Catalyst Control Center Linux Edition. The only difference I see with this new driver is they replace the "Catalyst" references with "Radeon" now instead to reflect the new Radeon Software naming.

The Crimson Linux driver is still reported as in the fglrx 15.30 series. Now onto the performance tests. The AMD Linux driver has been on the 15.30 series for several months. Hopefully the performance improvements are at least accurate otherwise Crimson is pretty cringing for AMD Linux users with there not being a significant driver update since September.
