Phoronix IRC Log: 2010-10-23

mikeplus64: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=steam_confirmation&num=1 heh, I haven't read Phoronix for a long time and never noticed that Steam on Linux has been "confirmed" before.
mikeplus64: Kinda rage-inducing. In the article from earlier this year, it was supposedly coming out "by the end of summer" or something ( well, summer in the northern hemisphere anyway ) - summer is well over now in the northern hemisphere.
mikeplus64: Oh well.
mikeplus64: michaellarabel: Although I doubt there are still people who will tell you that there will be a Steam client for Linux certainly any more, it would be nice if you could clean up the mess that's accumulated over the past months ( years? ); it's common knowledge that Valve denied that they were working on a Steam client for Linux a few months ago.
