redeeman: you should be using the free driver
LordRaptor: so slow, doesnt even run quakelive :(
LordRaptor: unless thats what ubuntu uses and I have it setup wrong on every other distro
redeeman: ubuntu almost certainly uses the free driver
LordRaptor: i wonders if I can use a old debian stable to get fglrx working
LordRaptor: ive tried the radeon driver with freebsd (minus the quakelive) and I get 1fps in fullscreen
LordRaptor: id prefer to play one game to entertain me and use freebsd over linux
