mattmatteh: Deanjo, 2.6.28-gentoo-r5
mattmatteh: Deanjo, but i recall trying sometime ago too and had problems so i gave up
mattmatteh: Deanjo, i dont know if apic 2.0 was enabled before, i believe it is now
mattmatteh: Deanjo, had to go through the bios settings since it crashed
mattmatteh: Deanjo, if the power supply was bad, would i still be able to have 30 days up time ?
Deanjo: mattmatteh, Having 30 days uptime really doesn't have alot to do with a power supply being bad or not. A weak trace or bad solderjoint for example can often be fine while "warmed up", when cooled from being in a powered down state when the traces and joints shrink is when you will have problems.
