Savour: hello ppl
Savour: i wanted to ask you, is there any patch to make fglrx 9.5 to work with 2.6.30-rcs ?
Savour: hello
Savour: one question
Savour: is there any patch for ati fglrx 9.5 to make it compatible with 2.6.30?
michaellarabel: uncle_fungus: I see gromacs 4.0 is out, I've updated the test profile and will push it up soon if you want to give it a try.
uncle_fungus: ah, cheers
uncle_fungus: I believe fftw and mpi have been updated since I wrote the profiles that use them too, so I should probably update them too
michaellarabel: sure, if you want to that would be greatly appreciated.
uncle_fungus: has the command required to clone a new copy of git/master changed? I've just tried a clone of http://www.phorogit.com/repo/phoronix-test-suite.git and it dies with:
uncle_fungus: error: Couldn't get http://www.phorogit.com/repo/phoronix-test-suite.git/refs/heads/pts-malvik for heads/pts-malvik
uncle_fungus: The requested URL returned error: 404
uncle_fungus: error: Could not interpret heads/pts-malvik as something to pull
michaellarabel: git clone http://www.phorogit.com/repo/phoronix-test-suite.git
uncle_fungus: yeah, I thought so
uncle_fungus: the malvic "branch" appears to be missing
michaellarabel: it should be called pts-malvik, and that is very outdated. Around v1.2, now we're getting up on v2.0. But it still should be there
michaellarabel: With my md-gromacs 4 copy locally, it's running into a few build errors, so you might be better looking at that one
uncle_fungus: ok will do
michaellarabel: Thanks
uncle_fungus: some of the command syntax has changed between v3 and v4
michaellarabel: ah, okay.
uncle_fungus: ok, "fixed" the clone by upgrading git
michaellarabel: great
schestowitz: michaellarabel: http://www.ozelwebtasarim.com/index.php/web-haberleri/12879-phoronix-thread-leads-to-new-linux-game-ports
schestowitz: this site just copies full articles from all sots of site, ours included.
michaellarabel: bloody bastards
michaellarabel: Thanks for the heads up though schestowitz
