darthanubis: I ran the install all test suite for ubuntu 9.04 and it is downloading all the demos and whatnot. My question is...where are these tarballs and demos being downloaded to? /var?
darthanubis: and how hard would it be to purge this test suite when I'm done?
michaellarabel: darthanbuis: Downloaded to ~/.phoronix-test-suite/
darthanubis: michaellarabel, thank you
darthanubis: michaellarabel, I see no such folder as of yet
darthanubis: ok, I ran as root so thats where it went , root's folder
Milyardo: D:
Milyardo: running PTS as root?
Milyardo: Why would you do that?
Kano: michaellarabel: just tested 1.8.0
Kano: wanted to try nexuiz
Kano: sh: line 0: export: `1680': not a valid identifier
Kano: sh: line 0: export: `1680x1050': not a valid identifier
Kano: always get this error
michaellarabel: do other games run fine for you?
Kano: i guess it has nothing to do with that game
Kano: but with the res detection
Kano: same error for everything
evocallaghan: michaellarabel:Hey
michaellarabel: hi evo
Kano: michaellarabel: i get that error with xorg 7.1.1
Kano: which file has the res detection
evocallaghan: michaellarabel:Any time you would like to get on top of that artical ?
evocallaghan: That is, run out of news yet :p ?
michaellarabel: any release imminent or anything?
evocallaghan: No
evocallaghan: Need mind share, need people to know we exist
evocallaghan: and what exactly we are trying to do.
evocallaghan: michaellarabel:Just the bit about KMS for AUX
evocallaghan: Also the _start of_ a MIPS port
michaellarabel: evocallaghan: About KMS, I will do a news post this week if it can be shared soon.
evocallaghan: *very early* start
evocallaghan: It can be
evocallaghan: I will grab all the code and try to make a binary ok?
evocallaghan: They you can make some news about the AUX project 'with' the KMS stuff
michaellarabel: sure thing
michaellarabel: Anyone here from Italy?
evocallaghan: I know someone there, why ?
evocallaghan: The Eq is keeping them busy I believe :/
michaellarabel: evocallaghan: I am going to be in Italy later this month and will have some extra time and just trying to find a place that offers courses or anything in-depth on Limoncello, such a wonderful Italian drink.
Kano: anything special in italy?
evocallaghan: oh
thansen: anyone know why on 6.8 out of 8 Gig of memory would be availabel in this.. http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8662-built-clevo-m860tu-p-2564.html?wconfigure=yes
thansen: *only*
bkero: The motherboard claims the rest for things
bkero: Or rather, reserves the range above 6.8 for things
thansen: seems a little rediculous
