Milyardo: being nocturnal sucks :(
Xemanth: ein problemm
Xemanth: echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/acer-wmi/wireless
Xemanth: how can i give this command to kernel before loading ath_pci module
Kano32: michaellarabel: are you here?
Kano32: michaellarabel: there is a little problem with debian packageing of your a3
michaellarabel: Kano32: Hi
Kano32: when you use it then you dont have got /usr/share/phoronix-test-suite/documentation/short-description.txt
Kano32: but
michaellarabel: what?
Kano32: /usr/share/doc/phoronix-test-suite/documentation/short-description.txt
Kano32: because it is in the doc dir usually
michaellarabel: ahhhh you mean with the GUI for where it shows description?
Kano32: yes
michaellarabel: I'll move it into pts-core then
Kano32: adding a fallback would work too
Kano32: i have got a package ready, just how do you want it fixed, changed path only?
michaellarabel: I will just be changing the path to it
Kano32: will not use dpatch, just directly
Kano32: or should i patch it on the fly in the rules?
michaellarabel: why not just rerun the debian build script in pts-core?
Kano32: because thats no correct way
Kano32: you dont split into standard + gui, add no menu entries and so on
michaellarabel: http://phorogit.com/index.php?p=phoronix-test-suite.git&a=commitdiff&h=72347079d1a1faa91bcf281e0680cb759696eed5&hb=a27dee20f18917f4085011d2a0244c4f38fa197f
Kano32: well i still need a hack for a3
Kano32: as you uploaded it
Kano32: i will not begin packageing git snapshots
Kano32: well just hardcoded the new path
Kano32: michaellarabel: why do you prefer the lsb entries over the kanotix-version file
michaellarabel: LSB is a standard so it's scanned through first, but it falls back to *-versions if there is no LSB
Kano32: well but that will not show kanotix then even if it is used. you only see it as kernel different to lenny then
Kano32: if you know that...
Kano32: nvidia-settings -q SyncToVBlank
Kano32: is not mentioned too. even if is set to 1
michaellarabel: It is. In pts-core/modules/graphics_event_checker.php but idk the status of that module, forgot what I was doing with that
Azerthoth: michaellarabel nvidia drivers 180.37-r1, picked up a 5% gain
Azerthoth: on this old moblie chipset (go7400)
Kano: r1?
redeeman: he probably uses gentoo
redeeman: hmm they don't have an -r1
redeeman: don't know then
Kano: michaellarabel: what would you do about smokin guns with lenny? it does only run when you replace the binary with a selfcompiled one
rainbyte: hi
bkero: How could there be a -r1? O_o
