SlickMcRunfast: the mobo has pci-express
mattmatteh: wouldnt see why not. but perhaps it could if pcie is on north bridge and pci is on south bridge... but thats a wild guess

redeeman: i tried a pci card in my X48 gigabyte board, did not work
SlickMcRunfast: does the bios detect it?
redeeman: it doesn't show the bios
redeeman: it shows nothing
redeeman: that would be why i say it didn't work
SlickMcRunfast: I guess the best thing to do is email gigabyte
