When looking at some CPU tests, LAME MP3 encoding was slightly faster under Maverick.

The x264 performance was not any better under Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook, but at least it did not regress.

The 7-Zip CPU performance is slightly better with Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook.
