TTSIOD, VP8 video encoding, and C-Ray all experienced performance boosts as well out of Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit Linux. The C-Ray boost is rather dramatic and is something we've seen out of GCC 4.7 building the multi-threaded ray-tracer extremely well.

Smallpt is also slightly faster under the "Quantal Quetzal" operating system.
