At the rear of the chassis are two 80mm exhaust fans, seven perforated expansion slots for added cooling, and the power supply mounting area next to the expansion slots. The layout of this chassis isn't too different from the other Lascala cases or even the SilverStone Crown CW01. The body of this chassis is made of 0.8mm SECC steel. At the bottom of the chassis are metal feet.

The internal layout of the LC13-E is also similar to other SilverStone Lascala cases. All of the 5.25" and 3.5" bays are removable so that the drives can be easily installed into these cages. Unlike some manufacturers that go with all tool-free installation options, SilverStone generally prefers to go with screws and frankly, we don't mind the choice. In front of the 3.5" HDD cage is room for an 80mm or 92mm fan, which can optionally be added.

The two 80mm exhaust fans at the rear of the chassis are 2050 RPM, 21 dBA fans. The SilverStone Lascala LC13-E can accommodate ATX and micro ATX motherboards.
