In the more demanding Linux-native Quake 4, the Sapphire HD 4850 Toxic had another 4 FPS advantage and then 5 FPS that separated it from the Sapphire HD 4870.

X-Plane 9, which is a realistic flight simulator developed by Laminar Research, the Sapphire HD 4850 Toxic again landed right in the middle between the vanilla HD 4850 and HD 4870.
