Next up are some CPU usage, system power consumption (measured AC end by a WattsUp Pro), and GPU thermal metrics for a sub-set of the cards tested.

First up was a Dota 2 run at 4K with Vulkan while having the Phoronix Test Suite monitor all of these system sensors...

The CPU usage with the Radeon RADV driver is comparable to the NVIDIA cards. The CPU usage between the RX 480 and RX 580 testing is very close.

The MSI Radeon RX 580 ends up running much cooler than the reference AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics card.

The system power consumption with the RX 580 does come much higher than the RX 480.

The slightly better performance with the RX 580 wasn't enough though to weigh over the increased power use, so its power efficiently is slightly less than the stock RX 480.
