The GnuPG results were close between the BSD and Linux operating systems, but there was a slight advantage handed to Kubuntu Karmic.

Kubuntu also did better with ray-tracing performance through the industry-standard POV-Ray benchmark.

While Kubuntu did better in POV-Ray, with the multi-threaded C-Ray benchmark PC-BSD 8.0 came out with the win.
