The GeForce GTX 680 was several times faster than any of the other tested NVIDIA GPUs under Linux with the 295.33 binary driver.

While the GTX 680 was doing phenomenal with the OpenCL version of SmallPT, its core temperature crept up to just about 80°C with this workload.

The power consumption of the GTX 680 configuration also increased to 300 Watts.

SmallPT's Cornell scene also produced similar results to Caustic3.
