The VDrift racing game was also faster with Mesa 8.0. On average, this OpenGL racing game was 24% faster with Mesa 8.0. VDrift at 1600 x 900 is now over 30 FPS with the Intel Sandy Bridge graphics.

The Lightsmark OpenGL lighting benchmark was 16% faster on average with Mesa 8.0-devel.

OpenArena is easily playable with Intel Sandy Bridge graphics. Under Mesa 8.0-devel, the Core i5 2520M graphics were 11% faster on average.
