Benchmarking LLVM's Clang OpenMP Support Against GCC

From this quick testing of the out-of-tree Clang OpenMP support on the previous page, it's working and offering better performance for multi-core systems, but still it doesn't seem to be as well optimized as GCC 4.9. Further tests with more C/C++ OpenMP codes and on greater-core systems will be forthcoming on Phoronix, especially if the OpenMP support is merged ahead of the LLVM 3.5 release this summer.

Those were just some quick non-OpenMP codes I tested as well just for reference purposes of GCC vs. Clang on this Intel Core i7 system running 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04.
