Running Dota 2 on the HD Graphics 630 when tweaking the memory frequency had very little impact on the frame-rate with this game being more limited by the GPU processing power than memory. The frame-rate only increased by a few frames when going from DDR4-1600 to DDR4-3333 frequencies.

With the less demanding ET: Legacy game, the faster memory was of much benefit. Going from DDR4-1600 to DDR4-3333 yielded a 54% increase in frame-rates for the Kabylake graphics.

The Tesseract open-source first person shooter was closer to 30% faster when doubling the memory speed.

With Valve's Team Fortress 2 game on Linux, maxing out the Corsair DDR4 memory led to almost a 40% improvement in performance.
