These Lenovo ThinkPad W510 vs. Lenovo ThinkPad T61 vs. ZaReason Verix results should not come as much of a surprise, hence the lack of our commentary in between the results. In the CPU bound tests the Verix and W510 are virtually tied as they use an identical processor while in the graphics tests the ThinkPad W510 tended to do better with its workstation Quadro FX 880M over the consumer-grade GeForce GTS 250M graphics processor. Of course, in the disk tests the ZaReason Verix was the leader due to its deployment of an Intel SSD. At the end of the day though, both the ZaReason Verix and Lenovo ThinkPad W510 can be configured when ordering to customize either notebook to your individual needs. The Lenovo ThinkPad W510 overall is a nice notebook that is built very well and does play well with Linux for the most part.
