With the now defunct open-source Nexuiz game, the Intel Linux driver is still coming up short with a 35 FPS average while the Intel Windows side is running at 40 FPS.

Even for the old OpenArena 0.8.5 release that doesn't use GLSL shaders or other advanced functionality, the Intel Linux driver for HD 4000 Ivy Bridge graphics still came up short.

When running OpenArena 0.8.8, which makes use of GLSL and other functionality but still not as advanced as commercial AAA titles, was the only game tested where the Intel Linux driver outperformed the Windows 7 software.

Running Unigine Sanctuary was also in Microsoft's favor with Intel hardware.
