The Core i7 870 did not fair as well when it came to the IS.C test with NPB where the Phenom II X3 710 managed to sneak into second place.

With the LU.A test, the Core i7 870 came out on top while next was the Core i7 920 and then the Core i5 750.

Between the three Intel Core processors the performance with the MG test, B class run was very similar while the AMD processor lagged behind quite a bit.
