The Nexuiz frame-rate at 1920 x 1080 goes up by nearly 40% with the Linux 3.1 kernel. However, it is still not enough to make this game playable at the HD resolution for this Sandy Bridge notebook.

Xonotic, the successor to the Nexuiz game that's since received many changes and engine-level alterations, is faster by 26% on the Linux 3.1 kernel but is still struggling to produce promising numbers for Sandy Bridge hardware.

LLC and the other changes in the i965 DRM driver boost the OpenArena frame-rate by 29%.
