OpenArena 0.8.5 is one of the least demanding OpenGL Linux games with the i7-3770K at 1920 x 1080 being able to easily churn out 130 FPS. The proprietary graphics drivers on Linux with this game are easily CPU bottlenecked after cranking out several hundred frames per second. Compared to the other open-source drivers, the only graphics card with faster OpenArena 0.8.5 results than Ivy Bridge was the GeForce 9800GT at 138 FPS.

To no surprise, the Intel Core i7 3770K "Ivy Bridge" easily led when it came to power efficiency and blew away all other graphics cards -- the most power efficient here of the discrete GPUs was the GeForce GT 220 -- but Ivy Bridge still carried a 22% advantage.
