Most users were taking this survey on their own.

Many users feel the current GNOME version is better than it was one year ago, but a big proportion of the respondents feel that the latest GNOME is worse than a year ago. This aligns with a lot of disgruntled GNOME3 feedback.

Most users though say they are running GNOME 2.x still, while GNOME 3.2 is already more popular than GNOME 3.0 according to the participants.
