Ubuntu 10.10 had a similar lead with the MAFFT molecular biology test compared to FreeBSD 8.0 / 8.1 RC2.

The OpenMP-based GraphicsMagick test did the best under Ubuntu 10.10 with GCC 4.4.4 than with FreeBSD and its GCC.

Running the Himeno Poisson Pressure Solver resulted in another win for Ubuntu 10.10 over FreeBSD.
