Like the MP3 encoding performance, there was little affect when it came to the FFmpeg performance.

At ray-tracing, using Bwfirt, it took more time with the debugger's-friendly kernel, but it was not by any real difference.

The slowest performer doing Pfam database searches with HMMer was under the kernel-debug scenario, but again, it was by a small margin.
