Surprisingly, with Catalyst 9.10 found in Ubuntu 9.10 the graphics performance was actually lower with the Radeon HD 4200 (785G) compared to the Radeon HD 3200 graphics found with the older 780G motherboard. VDrift is not playable with these integrated graphics processors, but a drop is definitely there.

A performance drop was again confirmed with the World of Padman test profile where with the 780G motherboard it ran at 86 frames per second while with the ECS 785G Chipset it dropped to 81 frames per second. We will be conducting more tests on the AMD 785G Linux graphics performance and report back soon.

The GraphicsMagick performance was effectively the same between the two motherboards, as should be expected.
